Fun Question: What type of socks do you wear? And color (s)? πŸ˜„

Black ankle socks in the cold weather. No socks when it’s warm.

I do have a couple of pairs of heavy, grey socks in case the weather is really cold. Also some nylon knee highs for use with shoes at dressier events. Nylons if wearing a dressier dress.

My husband is the guy with socks with his sandals. He says it’s probably better than viewing his feet.

I have a bundle of nylon knee highs! I guess at the time I wore them but rarely any more.

3 dresser drawers! I've gotten rid of a lot too especially single ones that I haven't been able to find the other for a year or so!πŸ˜‚
This definitely could make a different thread topic, but Not sure how many might chime in. πŸ˜πŸ˜†πŸ˜‚

What to do with the leftover socks?πŸ˜‰

Besides the obvious; make puppets!πŸ™ƒπŸ˜„

Or if extremely comfy, match them into creative pairs. πŸ˜„πŸ˜πŸ˜†

Once I stepped into a slight water puddle in my kitchen, and got one sock wet.
I was getting ready to go out and short on time, so i only changed the wet sock.

It was surprisingly fine. No one yelled at me from across a street; I didn't get arrested. ;)
So i learned that such a wild thing could be done, without negative consequence.
🀩☺️😁πŸ₯°

I really never thought of that but it's a good idea and others may start to do that too 😁 πŸ˜‰

I too gave up the endless sock matching game many years go.

I do match my socks into pairs, they are black but not the same, for example.with different colour writing underneath

My son only wears socks with long trousers, he just buys all plain black socks, no pairing them up just grab any two out the drawer, cant tell the difference under trousers anyway

The title of this being a fun thread made me smile, reason being that in my working life I paid as much attention to the accoutrements as I did the suit. Matching socks to your trousers creates a seamless and unbroken visual line, which is a professional look. This approach was essential for business meetings.
My choice was, and still is, Argyle socks with a diamond pattern:
