On our local neighbourhood App recently.. someone asked if there was anyone who could come and drive her home from the hospital. She said she had tried getting a cab but the cabbie didn't want to come onto hospital grounds, instead said he'd pick her up from the bus stop.. which is just outside the grounds...about 100 yards.

When asked why she wouldn't walk to the Bus stop for the cab.. she said.. it's raining and I'll get wet, so could someone come and pick me up from A&E main doors...

believe it or not, someone did...

No, she was asked why she wouldn't walk to the bus stop, and she said because it's raining and she didn't want to get wet..
