Fussy eaters

Do you have any in your family ? I know someone who cooks different meals for various family members, she’s hardly ever out of the kitchen, not something I would do myself, how about you ?
Oh NO... that would be a bit much for me. I would keep fruit on hand if they did not like what I cooked or depending on age, they could make themselves a PBJ Sandwich.

haha! When I was 13, a boy invited me over to his house for dinner. I was eating with him and his parents. His Mother said,"Do you like it? "Oh yes, The chicken is wonderful." She said, "It's not chicken, it's rabbit." my eyes got as big as saucers. "You mean a cute, little BUNNY RABBIT"?
I started crying at the table, in front of my first date! It's funny now, but tramatic when I was 13!
We raised rabbits during WW2. I ate quite a bit of rabbit. I never thought of them as pets.

I don't think rabbits are pets but I still would not eat one. I guess it depends on how you were raised and if it was served as a matter of course.

But to answer the original poster; yes, I am a short order cook according to my hubby. I want everyone to be happy with what they eat.

Ate rabbit and once ate groundhog. Tasted like pork, everything my mom made tasted like pork though, haha. Fried everything up with the same herbs and spices and made sure it was done to its last fiber.

Cilantro - it tastes like soap to me (Yes, I remember the taste of soap from my childhood!) My grandchild picked a Mexican place for her birthday meal. The only thing that didn't seem to have cilantro was guacamole. Surprise - it was in that, too! I used to make custom meals - now, I don't think I would be that obliging. Then again, I don't have to be anymore.
Oh Empty, Cilantro is GREAT! I make the BEST TACOS with it! You know how, when you make tacos and there's always a specific taste missing? It's a touch of garlic powder and CILANTRO! Tryit! it'swonderful! Tacos are my absolute favorite food!
