Game Show Contestant Booed by Audience

A one point in the game, the contestants are asked what they will do with their winnings. One said she was going to donate it to an animal shelter and the audience gasped and cat-called (no pun). I think that's an admirable decision, but some might think a homeless or battered women's shelter for people would make a better contribution. Opinions?

People give where they want and no one has the right to ridicule the decision. The contestant may feel that people shelters get more in donations than cat and dog shelters.
