Do you play them to keep your mind active and calm?
I have a nice jigsaw app and
I like Wordscapes too. But I keep them at easy steady levels because I am not at all ambitious or competitive. I just need to relax for a few minutes. I have started Wordle for some extra challenge. I don't spend much time on these games but I dip in when the mood takes me.

I do know one or two people who play such games endlessly and to extraordinarily high levels. I suppose we each need a different challenge but as long as we do something it is surely good for our brains.

I have a tablet and don't play games on it now, although I was once quite obsessed with Tetris. And I liked one called Snake, where you had to stop the ever-growing snake from hitting the sides of the screen as it moved. For some reason though, I never quite got the hang of Minesweeper 🤷‍♂️ ... 🚢 ❌ 💥

I have Angry Birds 2 on mine. The trouble is that when I pass a pig farm, I have a strong compulsion to stop and hurl poultry at the swine…

I asked Amazon for games made in the US. Words with friends was one, Wordscapes the other. Words with friends isn't bad but one annoying feature is they allow non words. Evidently there are FB groups and such for players that invent words and somehow by playing those words they "educate" the computer to accept the word. Yesterday one of my opponents played "foed" I think it was. When I clicked on the dictionary function it said it had no definition but was accepted as a words with friends word! Huh?? That's happened about three times. How can I compete in a word game against someone who plays nonwords?

Added...just how an opponent played "iodid" !!! The dictionary said its a "valid words with friends word" . And added..."No definition available" !

I play a few games on my tractphone a couple times a day:
solitaire, word tango 3D tennis game, jewel mash, wood blocks. I really like Word Tango which has 4 lines with some letters in each line,. At the bottom are the remaining letters ,have to figure out which line they go in. Its better than Wordle, at times frustrating but I like the challenge, keeps my mind sharp
