I've seen this type of burglary before with some trying this tact on ATMs. It might work but it's messy and a pick up isn't the most stealthy vehicle. A lot of gun stores have another set of locks on their weapons but cutters would probably take care of cables and chains. This is a very high profile tact which means if they mess up in disguising themselves or take too long their done. This is a brute force race against the clock pure and simple, no finesse here at all. It worked but arrests were already made.
