Gas Advantage card

Does anyone here use that type of card when buying gas?

We understand that it will come out of your checking account when you sign up for that program.
Needless to say we are a bit leery of giving out that information.

Same here. I limit who I give financial or banking info to. There is no shortage of "offers" that will sell your information

I have one with Maverick, a local gas station chain. Saves me 5 cents or so per gallon. Not a big savings, not sure if I would do it again, but I have it so I use it.

Duh. I never heard of a "Gas Advantage card'. I'm not up on stuff, I think Jimmy Carter is still President. So I went online, and it seemed those cards were ordinary credit cards. What am I missing?
