Gas Prices

It's plummeted here too. Ron and I were trying to figure out the last time it was under $2.00 a gallon here! And it's still dropping. Earlier int he week it was at $1.97, and I drove by the pump last night and it had was at $1.79. Wow.

86 cents here in the Ottawa valley, 73 cents at some places in the city... and yup like @Ken N Tx says, gas is cheap and nowhere to go...Figures...
I’ve been driving to the city to pick up kitchen cabinets but it’s been on hold lately. I still drive interesting places to walk my dogs though. Luckily there’s nobody else there so I don’t worry too much about it. I’m just happy to save money on gas.

Gas spiked around here lately at $1.69/gal....due to Memorial day, and lots of people going to the Lake of the Ozarks. A few days ago, it was $1.49, so by this time next week, it should be down a bit, again.

$1.969

The rest of the story is that since the pandemic I only drive about 10 miles/week so it's not a big part of my monthly budget.

Hundreds of tankers full to the brim sit idle in our oceans. Storage tanks all over the country also full to the brim. The only good news is Russia's economy is so dependent on oil they are squirming like rat caught in a trap.

Was $1.93 over a month ago. Next time I need gas I'll try to remember. I think in the last 3 1/2 months we've spent about $22.00 for gas.

Canada prices are per liter, correct? U.S. prices are per gallon. Here in my area because PA has the second highest gas taxes in the U.S. our price is $2.34 per gallon. Our lowest price during the time when the pandemic was it’s highest was $1.67.
