This is a photo, each segment light up depending on a personalized time period (time which you will take the pills )
the white pole prevents the three different compartments from sliding back in a different alignment.

A little over the top for me.

I think that a common pillbox from the $tore coupled with an audible reminder from a device like Amazon Echo, Google Home or even a wristwatch would be enough for most folks.

It would be helpful for deaf or hard of hearing people. It could help if you need to take pills in the middle of the night also. I think there would be a lot of people that would benefit from a lighted pill box...
