On the other side of the coin, all my doctors are using the word "poop" instead of feces, defecation, and bowel movement, and "people juice" is their new term for bodily fluids.

Personally, I don't like it. It's extremely concerning when I'm the only one in the room who sounds like he went to med school.

word usage just changes over time and each season gets it s buzz words. - interesting but nothing new.

What about all these reality shows...where everyone is on this "journey" looking for 'their person" lol

And, charcuterie boards, we've been making them for decades...only we refer to them as mezza. Assorted meat, string cheese, pickled veg, lahvosh. Every wknd we would have them out on the tables or counter for our company.

I grew up hearing "I'll bring the party tray!" during pot-luck planning. They were actually labeled Party Tray in the supermarket's deli section. There'd be stacks of 'em in the deli case a day or 2 before the Super-Bowl.

I don't know any football fans who say charcuterie.
