Gene Hackman and wife found dead in their home

The last suicide I worked was a man that pulled his car into his garage, closed the car windows and let the car run while he took a nap. His autopsy showed he had taken a few Ambien in his system, so the coroner labeled it as a suicide. I guess he had a good nap and never woke up.

Last winter here in Australia , there was reported deaths / serious illness caused by people ~ using heat bead burning bbq indoors …

Some have used a small portable gas heater and gas bottle inside with no ventilation .

Both methods of heating have resulted in deaths/ serious illness

Sydney family lucky to be alive after inhaling carbon monoxide from outdoor BBQ used to heat home

Ive never like gas heating they sting my eyes , I believe flue- less gas heating is going to be banned in the near future in Australia

News article I saw today with an alleged photo of Hackman and his wife, taken in March of last year, showed him to be very frail. If that photo was really him (I couldn't tell), he walked with a cane. Looked very thin, compared to the hale figure he cut during his acting career.

RIP Gene and wife. And the dog.

I'm sure we'll know more in the next few weeks.
 
As sad as this circumstance is, how it actually happened is a true mystery so far.
A few things are confusing, like why were both individuals found in separate parts of the home, and both appeared as though they had collapsed. Why was there pills scattered around the lady's bathroom counter, but none near Mr. Hackman? And why was the dog in the closet dead?

My first thought was gas poisoning, but the authorities said there had been no gas leaks. If they had planned a double suicide, you'd think they'd have posed themselves, and even left a note.

I'm sure the medical examiners will discover the cause of death. Until then, they're holding it pretty close to the vest.

I tend to wait until the dust settles and distrust anything the media says.

We won't know until the autopsies are performed, but three dead -2 adults and one large dog. The home is intact, without any dangerous gases present. The authorities have been walking around the home, and have had no respiratory difficulty. Sorry, 3 dead can only mean murder suicide.

What if one died and the other couldn't live without the partner and killed themself. The dog was apparently also very old, so maybe they offed him, or the last standing offed the dog.
