Unfortunately, I have a very important doctor appointment, so I'm trying to go to it. 🫤

The half moon was brilliant, in the totally clear, crisp blue sky, this morning.
Yes, it was still visible.

Happy Aniversary to many of you
I know I have not been here for a year.

We got our first big snowstorm the other day so we are catching up with things we missed
We finally had a chance to try out our new snowblower. It works great. It spits out rocks from our driveway so the dogs have to be inside. Our youngest one doesn’t really like that. He thinks all outdoor jobs are for him to go on so he’s not a happy boy being inside with me. He is sulking.

Anyway, I hope you are all having a happy day today.

I'm also glad that I made it to this particular appointment of mine, today.
(And glad that I did not freeze in place, while out. 😉😊😁)

My head doctor that I've had for the full year, since transitioning back out of hospital and nursing home/rehab, in Jan last year....
She's moving on to a different job now , elsewhere, so this was my final time to see her.

Hated to say goodbye to her, but thankful for her crucial help.

So obviously, i did Not want to have to miss this appointment, due to either the extreme cold or due to my physical challenges.
And I didn't miss it.
Got some good ideas, which she had always been good at.

Dh is having a good day, today.
I'm so thankful for that.

Time to eat and then rest or nap.

Good Afternoon, Kaila and Friends. 🤗 :coffee:🌲

As Kate mentioned, it's freezing today! I didn't have to take Lucius out even once yesterday because husband and son covered all the walks. And I did treadmill this morning because husband again took the morning walk. But I made a point of taking the afternoon walk, because, sheesh, fairness.

The nicest thing happened though. I was all bundled up and a little cold, but not freezing and when it looked for a minute like it might start snowing I was actually kind of charmed by the idea. Such a reaction is very unusual for me and I don't know where it came from, but I'm glad of it. I'd rather work with my environment, you know?

@Kaila, Glad you made it to your appointment today and that it went well, even if it was the last visit with this doctor. Do you have another lined up? Or maybe the office assigns one?

Everybody stay warm today! Patty's got the coffee covered so here's some hot chocolate. ;) 🥕🥕🥕

G'night everyone. I'll be climbing under the blankets earlier than usual... caught a chill this morning and just can't get rid of it. When I got up at 4 a.m., it was 8 degrees and a few hours later dropped to 4*. I'll probably dream of being on a tropical island somewhere. That would be nice! 🌴

I'm happy to hear that you were able to make it to your appointment today, Kaila, and that your Dh is having a good day, too! I hope you'll like and trust your new doc just as much as the one who's leaving.

Sure could use some of that hot chocolate right now, @Medusa ... extra 'mallows, please! 😋

Good morning, everyone. Sorry to hear that you're feeling poorly @CallMeKate - hope you feel better soon. 🥕 Now... regarding marshmallows, looks like you might not get (m)any - not if Kaila and myself get to them first. :cool:

I'm just waiting on a grocery delivery, checked my email and they have everything I ordered so that's good. I'll take Rocco out for a walk after that. It's a bit blustery out there but at least it's not raining - yet!

My husband just laid down for a nap. He was up at 2:00 . Poor guy. He doesn’t sleep well at all. Hopefully he’ll feel better when he gets back up.

@PeppermintPatty - Hope your husband feels better after his nap.

Re walking Rocco in snow, in this corner of north west England, we get very little snow. Usually, it's a very light sprinkling, rather like the dusting of icing sugar on a cake. I came back here (my home town) the 1980s and can count on one hand the number of times snow has settled and it's been about an inch or two at the most and not lasted. So, to answer your question, there's never been any settled snow when I've had Rocco so I'm not sure how he'd react to it. If we get any this winter then I'll test him out and let you know. My gut feeling is that he'll probably refuse to go out. :ROFLMAO:

I had a vague memory that it might be you, who also had an important doctor leaving. I hope you can get one that is good for you.!
They are definitely not all equally fine!
And it's often difficult here just to get any one.
It's it difficult there where you are?
Have you made any headway toward finding one?

This particular doctor of mine, is at an office of specialists, and they are giving me someone else there. I spoke to her for just a sentence or two, in the hallway. And I read the bio she wrote for herself, and she might be good.
I hope so, but i am still feeling the sadness of Dr B leaving. 😕
