Gentle posts for gentle folks

Thanks for the tip. No, I don’t know what’ll happen, but I’m not one to take chances.
:giggle:The legend:
  • Leprechaun Mischief: The tradition stems from the belief that leprechauns (red-bearded fairies) sneak around on St. Patrick's Day and pinch anyone they can see.
  • Invisible Protection: Wearing green, or having green on, acts as a protective shield that makes you invisible to these creatures.

Thanks for the tip. No, I don’t know what’ll happen, but I’m not one to take chances.
I didn't know either, but
I agreed with that strategy of not taking chances. 😊
Therefore I had planned to quick- go to get my kelly green neck scarf on!πŸ€—

I was reading just one more post,
beforehand, but then, read the explanation from @CallMeKate
😬😱

So now I must go as fast as I'm able, to get that Kelly green scarf!!!😳

Note for @Pam
I said kelly green, Not turquoise. 🀭

Not sure it would work.
I wouldn't take the risk, if I were you!

Glad to see we don't have a lot of risk takers here! Even Catherine knows and won't be getting pinched today. This is what she wore to the St. Patrick's Day parade.

Whoa! She's nearly completely covered in green, head to toe. 😲
My neck scarf won't accomplish that!😬

I wonder if I sit on the green apolstered chair, if I'd be fully protected. πŸ€”πŸ«£πŸ™„

Now that does sound adequate!πŸ‘

Since you probably don't have more than one, and you probably are not willing to lend it for 24 hours;

Is it large enough for all of us to get under there with you?

Well..... I'll let you into a little secret. I actually have more than one. :ROFLMAO: So, yes, there's enough to keep us all covered. My friend also bought me one at Christmas but it has Christmas puddings on it. Would that make any difference;)😁?

Good Afternoon, Kaila and Friends. πŸ€— :coffee: ☘️

Happy St. Patrick's Day!☘️❀️

Sounds like everyone is well covered and protected against the pinchy leprechaun today! Phew.

We are having corned beef with cabbage and potatoes tonight and hopefully, some cards. :) I will have to skip the intermittent fasting today but, it's nice to have a break once in a while.

Hoping everyone is feeling good this day of the wear'n of the green. :) (Does anyone else remember that Loony Tunes cartoon with Porky Pig and the green shoes? "I sentence you to the wear'n of the green shoes." He put them on and they kept dancing, endlessly. I think it turned out to be a dream.

Kate has the coffee and good-looking donut covered today, so.... (I couldn't resist the snakes ;) )
