We got a few snowflakes falling at mid-day today, but then cleared up with zero accumulation.

Very strong and cold wind gusts though!

It was common for us to get frequent snowstorms of over a foot of snow each time, starting in November;
the past couple of years have been less than that,
but never before, as little as this year!

Seems extra odd, with places like Maryland, significantly south of here, getting snow when we don't have any.
Let me know if you, or if any of you,

I don't know the why of it, but I'm certainly envious of your lack of snow. It's super cold here and will be for a while so the snow is going to hang around. TBH, I really hate it; the light refracting off the snow sets off migraines for me and I hate the cold.

Unfortunately, I have to go out in it to walk the dog; he's big and lives in the house so needs to be walked rather than simply brought out.

I'm from LA and when we first moved here, 30 years ago, I thought the snow was charming. That wore off pretty quickly when I realized it literally makes me dizzy and queasy. Now, if I were to never see snow again, that'd be okay.

Glad for you that you escaped this storm. :) Maybe it will be the only one this year. We can hope.

And I am sorry that sets off migraines for you! :(:eek::oops:
Migraines are awful.😟

And it's cold and difficult, to give the dog the needed walks.

And for others here, who also don't need any more cold or snow either.

As long as I wear my polarized sunglasses, I'm safe from the snow migraines. :)

Kaila, we’re in another zone without significant snow - yet. Western Canada would have a large amount by now. So strange. It’ll happen and I dread it.

I meant to look to see which part of Canada, you are located. 😁
But you say you are in the Western, which is a different zone, of course, as you say!
Interesting that you haven't had your usual, either.

We could definitely still get some, here too.

I wonder which SF Canadian members, might be in the Eastern provinces.... I'd like to ask if they have had no snow, like my area, just to the South of them....???
 
Today I ordered our first Delivery of groceries!
It will come tomorrow, Friday, by Instacart which is new to us.

I wonder if they will have trouble finding the specific location, which I tried to explain in the notes for them.
I hope it will go smoothly!

We're in Eastern Canada .. but, not too far east. There has been infrequent snowfalls this far into winter - at least, in Toronto. The foreseeable forecast is, no precipitation.

I’m in the eastern Atlantics area. Cape Breton Island , Nova Scotia to be exact and we have been getting plenty of snow.,IMG_7324.jpegIMG_7325.jpegIMG_7327.jpeg

It went very well.
