That little heat-face guy snuck in there this morning, but I'm leaving him because we are under heat advisory today with a high of 98F/36.6C, "real feel" of 112F/44.4C. Yeesh.

@Pinky, sorry to learn about how things went with your daughter's boyfriend's appointment, yesterday. Hopefully, they will get things resolved quickly from here. Good thoughts for that.

I've been sore all over, and exhausted, from my challenging p.t. session, yesterday;
But I'm very glad I got there and that I accomplished the activities there.
Just got the call that our car is repaired and ready to pick up.
I'm very glad it will not be there over the weekend and Monday.
But...
Of course we now need to ask for a ride there, midday on the hottest day of the year?
Actually, I was really proud of him this morning. When I clean up after him, I drop the leash box thingy (it's retractable) and kneel on it while I'm cleaning up. Usually, I retract the leash so it's short and ask Lucius to sit next to me and wait.I'm sure that walking Lucius will be difficult, today, with the extreme heat advisory.
He'll want to go for all his usual favorite routes and to investigate every little thing along the way.
Let us know how that goes.

Ah, I didn’t realize that your little dog couldn’t return. You‘ll be so thankful that he lives in a wonderful home.

This morning, I was listening a Whatsapp from a friend, spaced out and didn't retract the leash or ask Lucius to sit.
I didn't notice the person coming up the sidewalk until they were passing me, having passed Lucius, who stood quietly and didn't move while a person walked by within inches. He's such a good boy.
If he had gotten excited or otherwise forgotten his manners and jumped up, it would have been totally on me because his behavior is my fault. But he was excellent and perfectly behaved. I praised him all the way home.

We are at 74 degrees partly sunny with rain expected tomorrow.
Good for you Kaila powering through that difficult therapy; I hope it becomes a little easier for you as time goes on. Relieved you got your car fixed and you won't have to bother with that for a long long time.
Lucius and Rocco seem like wonderful dogs by your descriptions. My little dog Boudica is also wonderful but she had to go live with my grandson in Massachusetts so I've only seen her a few times since I had that fall. I know she's happy there. She loves the baby and they sleep together sometimes.
Time to get a grocery list made for delivery I don't need too much thank goodness, prices are ridiculous.
Looks like a hamburger patty for dinner tonight with French fries and a veg.
@ Pinky I'm just outraged that your daughter's boyfriend did not get his surgery with no reason why. I hope they get him taken care of very quickly .

If this was the boyfriend’s first time to this doctor, he would decide what needs to be done and then set an appointment for the actual surgery. I had that happen and at that time it was an eight hour drive. My husband buys apples wholesale from the farmer down the road. In between wholesale apples he purchases apples on sale at the store. We keep the apples in our cellar downstairs.Thank you for those very positive comments regarding my p.t. and how I'm doing it, Patty.
Your house must surely smell the best of all homes in Canada and the USA!
How do you keep the apples, to cook year round?
Do you dry them or freeze them?
We used to do both, many years ago now.
We also made home made breads.
Finally, time to unwind. I got the bus into town this morning to attend a protest/demo/whatever and sign a petition against closing down the intensive care unit in our local hospital. This town is at the end of a peninsula, one road in and out. Anyway, there was a good turn out, looks like they got plenty of signatures and there's an online campaign as well. Fingers crossed.
Then my son and grandson came round, grandson on day off today but working the next three days then off on holiday so he wanted to see me before he goes. They'd no sooner gone out the door than my granddaughter arrived, she'd been to the gym. It's been lovely seeing them all.
You must miss your little dog, @RadishRose but it sounds like he's got a good home with your grandson and great grandson.
Hope the pain is easing off a little @Kaila Big hugs.
