yep. What a pretty way to describe them. The purple finches appear as if "dipped in raspberry juice"
Not purple-looking actually.

How is the PT going? @Kaila
Today's the day we take daughter and her Corgi, Abbi, for a drive in the country. Abbi stands on my thighs in the backseat, as she's too short to reach the window. I love having her in my arms.
Have a good day, everyone![]()
small bits is amazing and better then nothing. No p.t. sessions for me, this week.
My physical therapist is on vacation this entire week.
They didn't offer me an appointment with one of the other therapists, this time , which had been mentioned as an option, in past scenarios there. But had not ended up happening then either.
I don't know if the reason they didn't, this week, is that others are on vacation as well, or that the others don't specialize in this type of disorder, or that they think the continuity is necessary or advisable,...or,or,or.....
We discussed what i could do on my own, which sounded good, and might have seemed like a good trial, but realistically has been very difficult for me to do. Impossible, so far, actually.
If i do it, then I'm unable to do any other very basic needed actions. For dh or for myself.
Oh well, I'm muddling along.... until next Monday. Will do just small bits.
That's the long answer to the very short question.![]()
Iβm definitely going to make this. I may have to substitute skinless chicken. DH wonβt eat the skin and doesnβt want any bones. Or maybe Iβll do a 50/50 blend of chicken.1 Pot Middle Eastern chicken

Do you think a 11/12β cast iron fry pan is large enough?
@Jules I don't know about the size of the pan.Iβm definitely going to make this. I may have to substitute skinless chicken. DH wonβt eat the skin and doesnβt want any bones. Or maybe Iβll do a 50/50 blend of chicken.

I have lots of Pyrex so will use that too.I'd be careful of cast iron with lemon juice. I don't know how acid like tomatoes or lemons interact with cast iron I've only used enameled cast iron. We used a Pyrex.
Hello dear friends
Well here it is Wednesday I thought it was Tuesday.
Yesterday I had a new physical therapist. They interchange with each other. She was really nice in fact they're all nice.
So today I am sore and I only did one set so far but I will do the rest. Today the OT is coming and I really don't know what that is ....I think we're going to try exercising the arm, also yesterday the home health aide came for the first time. She washed my hair and since I already cleaned myself earlier in the morning I can't really get my back so she washed my back . I'm not comfortable with that but she was very nice.
She's from Ecuador; she told me she and her family are citizens of the United States but they are afraid to get grabbed off the street by ICE agents, I felt bad for her.
It's cloudy at 78 with poor air quality due to the fires in Canada.
I finally did make my soup I didn't do it when I said I would but I did yesterday and is delicious so I have some set aside for the freezer.
I joined Hulu so I can the new edition of King of the Hill. It's so funny and there were a lot of changes but not that many. I don't know if any of you are fans of King of the Hill but it's a laugh riot.
@Kaila Sorry about your PT. You can only do what you can and whatever that is, will still be beneficial to you Just don't overdo it I think if you keep trying it's gonna be OK.
Everyone have a wonderful day!

One Pot Middle Eastern Chicken and Rice -
You described it perfectly. I hope all goes well. And glad to see ya!I'm glad you have some helpers coming, even though i know what you mean. It's sometimes not comfortable letting them help in some ways.
The o.t. and p.t. often do overlap a lot, in what they do.
However, the o.t.'s often have some very good and specific suggestions
on how to change ways of doing self care tasks and household and meal prep, etc.
Perhaps they might suggest very practical adjustments and possible changes that are a big help and easier options to accomplish some simple goals.
Now I don't think i described that well at all.
Anyway, I hope that each one who comes is at least a little bit helpful for you.
Rather than each one of them just asking you the same list of questions, over and over, each time, the way they do.
I'm glad that soup of yours turned out well, and had some for the freezer, too.
