Wishing our K-Posse a fabulous weekend! I have a ton of things to do today, but it's my favorite time of year and the weather is chilly, so Kate's a happy girl! I'll need a jacket to go out this morning for sure... whoohoo! Ooops, did @Jules just throw something at me?! Any big plans today for anyone?

Good Morning, Kaila and Friends. πŸ€— :coffee:πŸŽƒ

Journaling finished, makeup on, ready to walk Lucius. I'm right on time today!

@Pam, hope you have a nice visit with your grandson when you seem him. I'm sure you will; your people sound lovely.

@CallMeKate, that coffee looks perfect! I'm into a creamy, latte-type coffee. Ooo, especially with some chocolate on the side. Gimme.

Loving this weather! πŸ‚πŸπŸƒ

Wishing everyone here a wonderful day!

Good afternoon, @Kaila et al, from a sunny and bright north west England. I received an email to say the books I'd requested from the nearby library had arrived so I collected them this morning. I hate being without books to read. One is a Tess Gerritsen thriller set in Maine while the other is called Reelin' In The Years by Mark Radcliffe, a soundtrack of a northern (England) life. He takes a record from each year of his life (starting in 1957) and then writes about it/the year/social history etc. in both an informative and witty way.

Thank you @Medusa for the comments re my family. Yes, they're not bad. ;) I looked after my grandson 3 days a week from when he was 10 months old so we have a good bond. He was so very easy to look after too... just like his dad... placid, laid back easy nature.

@RadishRose - the soup sounds good! I love a bowl of home made soup but nowadays I wait for my son to make it. :ROFLMAO:

@CallMeKate - another milky coffee lover here! I only have one a day, first thing in the morning and the best drink of the day.

@Kaila - hope you are ok. πŸ«‚

Hello to all of my treasured friends, here.

Mostly I just want to let you all know that I am okay, and dh is okay, as well.

There were so many challenges to my day yesterday, that I can't remember a count.o_O:oops::rolleyes::confused:
I mean that I would have lost count, if I had been trying to keep one.:cautious::sneaky:

But we are both okay. Sheesh.
Yesterday I could barely stand or dress, but I persevered and managed to go to P.T.
It's very closeby and so essential for me.
There were both tearful moments there, and some smiles and a few laughs, squeezed in, with the guidance and the movement attempts.

Before and after that session, there were medical phone calls I needed to make, and dh .....another infection....but he got a new med, and it seems to be working for this one.
I have no idea if my new med is making me worse or not, and I could not reach the dr I wanted to, or some equivalent dr., before the apparent 4-day weekend, many are taking.

It is so very pretty out my window, the clear sky, and the sunshine on the leaves and highlighting the brilliant feathers of the Blue Jays.

I hope the East coast storm does not come close to any of you;
and that your day is as bright as your posts are to me.:)

HI K-Posse!
Yes, it got chilly. Had to put the heat on early yesterday morning!

Made pea soup with ham in a new 2 qt crock pot (after breaking my other crock)
yesterday. Was ok. Too much onion and liquid but not too bad. I'll have the rest for lunch.

Kiss to Lucius.

I almost put the heat on but then put a sweater on instead. I know I will be putting the heat on soon on of these days, though, for sure.

Pea soup rocks!! I haven't made it in ages but plan to this season!

Hi Kaila,
I was just thinking of you so dropped in. Haven't come here in awhile, my mind has been preoccupied. It sounds like you are doing somewhat better than yesterday, no? Well, I hope so! It is a beautiful day here, too, with the sun out and not a lot of wind. Cooler and crisper but I like that! I don't like the hot temperatures anymore or the humidity that goes along with it at times.

I, too, have to make more dr. appointments; one appointment for a hematologist because of low platelets. Saw my new gp doctor twice in the past month and she is pretty nice and pleasant, too. I know I'll be going to some other doctors too as soon as I schedule appointments but not looking forward to it really. I'm rather tired of seeing doctors but at least they are usually nice and helpful. Maybe I should think "one doctor at a time". That's all I can really handle.

I know it's difficult adjusting to new medications, too. I've been doing it, too. Adjusting to an increase in one med and then 3 newer medicines, too. But I figure they are helping some. I just don't like the process I guess!

I hope you have a better weekend than it's been for you.πŸ’œβ€οΈπŸ’›πŸ’š

You are so strong, @Kaila. It's inspiring. Getting to physical therapy when you could barely stand is freaking impressive, girl!

As for today, a message I sometimes need as well. β™₯️

I'm just waiting for son's partner to give me a lift round to their house for the usual tea and quiz.

Yesterday, youngest son and grandson came round. Grandson brought me a present back from Turkey, a little trinket box which is lovely and, of course, it's lovely to have him back home again.

Nothing much to report, it's been another day of doing very little so nothing exciting to report.

Sorry you had a rough start @Medusa, hope you'll feel better soon. And you @Kaila with all your struggles, I really hope it's a better day for you today. I get a bit mixed up with days/times being on different continents and time zones but you know what I mean....I hope. :ROFLMAO:

Must log off now, love to all. πŸ₯•πŸ₯•πŸ₯•

Glad to hear that your grandson is back home,πŸ˜€
and yes, we do know what you mean,😊😁☺️
plus I think that all of us are frequently confused , at this point in our lives, about time zones and which days are which etc, etc, etc. As well as geography, and other topics .πŸ˜†πŸ˜‰
