Good Afternoon, Kaila and Friends 🤗 :coffee: ❄️

Well, it's cold but at least there is no snow and it's not windy. I'll take it.

Husband is off today, which is nice. We watched our team get demoralized last night in a replay of a game we were catching up. Thankfully, they won the next game 5 - 2. We couldn't watch that game because it was blacked out here. Annoying.

I woke a bit earlier today so my day is running early as well. Not a bad thing.

@Pam, thank you and glad to hear you are no longer troubled my migraines. :)

@Kaila, hoping you were able to make it to your appointment today and that things went well for you. 🤗

@PeppermintPatty, thank you; they only lasted for the one day this time and I'm grateful for that. I'm grateful also to have medicine that works! There was a long time there, when I didn't as @Pam will be familiar with too. ❤️

I have a friend who used to have migraines. Sometimes he’d have migraines that would last three days. Nothing he took would help them. I’ve only had maybe 2 migraines in my life but glad I don’t usually get them.

It's not too awfully cold here, for as far north as this,
But we got a lot of new snow. 🫣🙄😏

I needed to dress up in layers and go out, for an important Dr appointment.
I wasn't sure I could or should,
But I did get to the appointment.

And that begins my busy new week.

To answer your question re the pockets, Kaila and @Medusa... No, I won't be lining them. Will probably sew them on but even though I like doing cross stitch, I don't enjoy 'ordinary' sewing and avoid it as much as possible, although I will have to sew the pockets on. Maybe I should ask my friend, she loves sewing and is coming here tomorrow. ;)

Pleased your migraine is better @Medusa, they are so debilitating! Same as Kaila, I had them for years then eventually found out that I could actually get something for them. I haven't had one since I went through the menopause! Still get headaches but not migraine anymore, thank goodness.

Hope you didn't get any more snow @Kaila and manage to get to the doctor. 🥕🫂

Oh, I'm just now backtracking thru the thread and seeing that the top of a favorite dish broke. 🙁😢
It always feels sad when that happens.

I agree, that is Very annoying when they black out a game that is of particular interest!
and especially if a favorite team finally wins!!!!

I sometimes watch basketball or even football or baseball, for some welcome distraction. Following the New England teams.😀

Right? And what's weird is they do not blackout other games that are being played by two East Coast teams. Go figure?

We got snow but not very cold, here.

However , they are warning of extreme cold days coming this week, the coldest of the year, so far, they say.
Not looking forward to that!
