I’m about a week in.

That's a funny-yet-true observation you've made, that cats can make any surface look comfortable.









I also love how cats demonstrate and make obvious, that they trust us and feel secure and safe, in the environments that we provide for them.
By sleeping in positions they do, in our homes.

This is so true. Cats definitely do demonstrate that they trust us when they curl up and sleep in some of the most bizarre places. Lol

This cat of ours has almost never shown any interest in the birds outside our window. The lone exception was years ago when one landed on the outside of the screen, in summer when the window was open.

Did she jump at it ? That’s so unusual. Birds don’t usually land on screen windows.

Here is what she did today, when the wild birds were at the feeder, near the window close to her:

Those are my knees, with her sleepy head resting and dozing on one.

Awwww. She’s so cute and so comfy. There’s nothing like sleeping on mom’s legs. Here’s a picture of our now deceased cat. I miss her so much.

That’s a nice bird feeder you have there. I like the squirrel baffle. It’s perfect. It’s a beautiful picture of the red cardinal along with the gold finches.

Good Morning Everyone! Our days have gotten warmer here. Yesterday we had some rain and it is melting the snow piles. Now we have slush and that will take us into the mud season unless we get more snow. Which I figure we will. It is only Feb. and we usually have snow into April. I hope you all have a nice day and everyone is doing well.

Good afternoon. Well, I've been washing throws and cushions. Exciting eh? I thought I'd have a bowl of soup midday,, placed it on a little table by my settee. Went to sit down and knocked it over. Soup went all over my throws and cushions and under the settee. Fortunately, I have laminate flooring so I was able to clean the floor easy enough. I do have a rug on the flooring but the soup missed that, thank goodness.

Not done much else other than go for a walk with Rocco. He's gone home now so I thought I'd grab a few minutes on here then watch a bit of snooker.

I posted the pictures of my sweet kitty,
first sleeping on her blankie, recently,
and then, sleeping on my lap, yesterday, with her head on my knee. And yes, she does help me to heal.
