Hi Kaila and everyone I am mostly a quiet person. Still though at times I talk a lot. Oh well that's me I'm having a chef salad tonight. I had it delivered.

I'm excited that I am going to a chiropractor. I hope to get better.! I'm going to make an appointment to see a hemonologist. I have some blood problems in my last lab tests.

I could spend most of my time going to doctors! That will be my hobby

Having chef salad is a wise choice.
Eating junk food creates inflammation and inflammation on a pinched nerve WILL create extra pain. Try and keep eating as healthy as possible.

Good morning all. Another drizzly morning but definitely warmer again. Got a grocery delivery at 10 this morning so will leave my walk until after that has been delivered and put away.

@Medusa, thank you for posting the pic of Lucius, he is lovely and give him a stroke from me too....that also applies to @RadishRose doggie too, another little beauty.

Youngest son has early finish today so is coming here for dinner around 1ish. I'll be doing a veggie pasta (he's vegan). We will sit and put the world to rights no doubt.

It's a nice day here, albeit a bit cold, but I'll take that over snow! Lucius and I have been out twice and now my son will take over the rest of the walks for the day.

I've done my "things" for the day so, I'm hanging out with boyfriend, watching Hulu and playing AC.

@Pam, thank you. I will give Lucius a pat and also some squishies for you.

I'm feeling a bit of spontaneous, inexplicable joy, at this moment. Gentle feeling, not exuberant.
I don't think I've felt this feeling, for a long while, and certainly not recently.
I don't know why I have it, now, and I wish I could bottle it; but will just try to enjoy it , and savor it a bit, too.

And share it with all of you, here,

Going along where it leads me, I am feeling happy with what this thread has become. It sort of morphed into a place of its own, from the start it had, 15 months ago; which was quite different from what it is, in the present, and Yet, the basic nature of it, continues.

Really good to read about your spontaneous joy @Kaila and can only reiterate what others have said, and hope that this will continue. You certainly deserve it. I'd also like to add my thanks to you for this thread, I agree with PeppermintPatty that you should be proud of this thread, I feel very comfy here.

I had a lovely time with youngest son, thanks @PeppermintPatty - bonus was that grandson was on day off so he came round too. They are both good company, very placid, kind natured and easy to be with. @Medusa. they will both be going to see the Man Utd v Aston Villa match in a couple of weeks, the tickets were my Christmas present to them both. Am hoping it will be a good match to watch, at the moment Aston Villa are 3rd in the premiership league and United are 4th.

Well, I managed to get my ironing done and put away before Rocco arrived. He's eaten his breakfast and is now sleeping so we'll go for a short walk when he wakes up. Unfortunately, he started with a cough yesterday. It's not too bad, but we're monitoring him and if it doesn't get better or it progresses then it will be a visit to the vets for him. He is fine in himself, no loss of appetite etc. so fingers crossed the cough improves soon. It's not constant, just about once every couple of hours. His mum said he slept through the night without coughing so that's good.

Good morning, Kaila & Friends! I am going to go for my groceries this morning *because* I want to free up Saturday when I usually go. And why do I want to do that? Because Saturday is still forecast to be 57 degrees with sunshine. I was thinking it would be changed by now, but nope! Gonna be doing something fun outside that day for sure.

I'm sorry to hear Rocco is dealing with that coughing, @Pam . Has he has issues with allergies in the past? @Kaila , did you sleep well? @PeppermintPatty , thank you for your upbeat posts here yesterday.

Are you keeping warm especially to sleep, @Babs2u ? And I sure hope that nasty bug is resolving for you more day by day, @Medusa . How is the adorable Lucius today? Everyone else: how ya'll doing today? Everything good?

I'll be stopping for a hot mocha on the way to the store. Anyone want one?

@CallMeKate - I seem to remember he had a skin problem a couple of years back which might have been an allergy. I'll mention it to mum. We've been for a short walk and he was fine. He's been here for 3 hours now and just coughed a couple of times, I'm making a note of when he coughs to pass on to mum when she collects him. He is due at the groomers again in a couple of weeks so we're hoping he's clear by then. If it is something like kennel cough then he won't be allowed in the groomers as it is highly contagious. Fingers crossed he'll be okay soon.

I have done the first part of my day, am just finishing breakfast now and will be taking Lucius out again in about 30 minutes.

Boyfriend is away for the next several days, visiting family in London. I'm happy for him to be with family and having a nice time and also bummed out that he's away. Oh well.

Husband is working today, but off tomorrow which is a good thing because our hockey team is playing tonight so we'll be able to catch the game on replay tomorrow night, early. Actually, our team is playing three times over the next four days. The NHL trying to catch up after the break for the Olympics.

@Pam, what a fun gift to give! You know they'll have such a great time at the Man U / Aston Villa game. Interestingly, husband recently mentioned to me that the guy down the street is an Arsenal fan. That's what that flag is in front of his house! I've been trying to figure it out as I walk buy with Lucius.

---Really sorry to hear about Rocco's cough. Hopefully, it will resolve quickly. Keep us posted. I think we're all fan's of your Rocco, here.

@CallMeKate, thank you for asking; I am doing much better, I'm happy to report! At this point, just a little bit of infrequent cough. Have fun outside on Saturday. To be honest, I probably wouldn't go outside if Lucius didn't force me. He's a good dog in many ways. (Thank you for asking after him too. ) Hope you get to enjoy the nice weather.

Good morning, everyone. Just to keep you updated, Rocco is much better, he's been here 3 hours now and hasn't coughed once, and apparently had a good cough free night too. We've had a little walk and now he's doing his favourite thing... sleeping.
