Gentle posts for gentle folks

Good afternoon all. Thanks for the reminder @Kaila to put soil in the tubs. ;)πŸ˜† I finally got round to sprinkling the seeds. I've got quite a few bulbs coming through in other tubs and have no idea what they are. Oh well, it will be a nice surprise when they do flower. 🌷🌹

Rocco was here with me until about 9 o'clock last night then granddaughter exited the birthday party early and collected him. I thought she might, she just isn't a party girl at all....unlike I was at her age. πŸŽ‰πŸ‘―β€β™€οΈπŸ₯³

Other than sprinkling a few seeds, I've done nothing else. Another lazy day but hey, that's what Sundays are for nowadays , isn't that right,, @CallMeKate?

Why are you asking Kate?πŸ€”πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«πŸ™„πŸ€”

Don't I look lazy enough for you?πŸ€”πŸ˜Šβ˜ΊοΈ
πŸ˜πŸ˜„

Gosh I hadn't figured you as a party girl.
I'm glad that slipped out.
Do tell,Pam.

Good Afternoon, Kaila and Friends. πŸ€— :coffee: 🌷

It's very warm here today! I was in a hoodie for the second Lucius walk and even that was a bit too warm. @CallMeKate, Sundays have that special feel for me too. :) No idea why, really; they just do.

@Pam, you know, I can see it; you having some party girl in you. ;)

I'm wondering about @RadishRose too. Hoping she's doing well.

The hockey game we were going to watch last night was blacked out so husband and I watched some PBR, which was fun.

He's home early today so, hopefully, we'll have a game to watch.

You'll all be shocked to know that I'm hanging out with boyfriend, playing AC and watching a show. 😲 πŸ˜‚
Hey, I've done my "things." ;)

Coffee? (That's rhetorical, of course.)

You don't have to β€Šearn your playtime, as far as we are concerned. @Medusa
☺️😊😁

β€ŠI think you deserve it, in any case. 😁

And as for @CallMeKate
She earns it if she doesn't do anything, to get into any trouble. πŸ™ƒπŸ˜‰πŸ« πŸ˜„

🀩
We're all thinking of you
@RadishRose
And hoping that you're enjoying some time with family, this week. πŸ₯°

There's a warm spell here, all of a sudden, arrived today, and hear this!
The snow melting has revealed some tips of tulip bulbs, breaking ground!

Oh, what a wondrous and welcome sight it is!
It's my 2nd Springtime, since I started this thread. πŸ˜ƒ

 And just what are you saying, dear lady?! Sometimes trouble simply follows some of us, ya know! :ROFLMAO:

Good morning Kaila and Friends! Looking forward to a few warm days here this week before turning colder again. I hope it's the same where all of you call home! I have some things coming up that I'm dreading (i.e. the 🀬 taxes) and will soon have to tackle, but as Scarlett O'Hara would say, tomorrow is another day.

Good Afternoon, Kaila and Friends. πŸ€— :coffee: 🌷

So warm here today! I wore a hoodie again today for Lucius' first walk and it might be too much on the second. I am loving this early spring weather!

Husband is off today and napping now. I was feeling a bit off last night and wasn't feeling like watching anything so, we'll likely catch it up this evening.

I'm all caught up in --well, I told you guys about listening to the old Dragnet radio shows, I know. Now, though, I've taken a break from Dragnet to listen to The Twilight Zone radio show! They are the same shows as aired on TV, but redone for radio. I'm having a lot of fun with them. :)

@Kaila, good thoughts for your physical therapy evaluation. πŸ€—

Wishing everyone on Kaila's lovely thread a nice Monday afternoon. πŸ₯•πŸ₯•πŸ₯•

I had such a choppy and poor night's sleep and then, the early a.m. appointment, today, that I've been extra exhausted. πŸ™„πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«πŸ«€πŸ™

But at least i did get to p.t., where we agreed that the pool water therapy type of p.t. would be difficult but worth trying.

Not sure when it will be able to be scheduled. She didn't know, but will put the plan into works.

I'm thinking of each one of you.
Thanks for being here!

Knowing she no longer is there makes me so sad. She always cared so much for others. Shared so much of her knowledge with us. Made us laugh with her humour, educated us with her vast culture. Made me want to be a better person and showed me how to execute that. She will be so dearly missed. RIP, Rose.❀️🌹

I'm finding it difficult to absorb the news about RadishRose.

I wish it wasn't true.

@PeppermintPatty
Seeing your post there on the other thread, reminding me of the wings...
and the other posts there, helps me a little, today.

Thank you all, for being here.

She was special, on this thread with us.
And the many other threads.
The paintings she selected....
The silly easy humor.

I'm glad she was here.
In this thread.
And at s.f.

I’m sorry to have offered this news so bluntly.
I’m in shock also. I can’t stop thinking of her. Senior Forums won’t be the same without her. She had a unique grace about her. She DID care about others , was always trying to help.
She had a great sense of humour. She REALLY was a shining light on this forum and it won’t be the same without her. I think I’m in shock right now. I can’t think of anything but her. She was here for 12 years and I have been here for 8. She was one of the first members to befriend me here. πŸ₯²

I always check my PM's first... and that's where I was told, and I'm thankful for that. The blow was softened a bit and would have been awful to just come across it in the "what's new" section.

Very hard to believe... and I'm so glad her family had someone to contact here. I'm sure it's no secret that I've called myself a Mama Hen, and when someone I've interacted with is missing, I notice. It's happened more than once now that someone disappeared and never came back. One of the downsides of online friendships, I guess.

That's how I found out was in the what's new. 😭

I have been thinking about her all day. I miss her so much. She always had kind words for us. She loved my cat Elsa and she enjoyed seeing pictures of her.
I, too, loved her humour and her love for arts. I liked her recipes and read attentively about her family that she loved and cherished so much.
Kaila and friends, thank you for sharing your memories of her and your feelings of sadness. It somehow keep her alive and a part of us.
