I’m currently watching a Disney movie about swimming. It’s a true to life story about the first woman to successfully swim the English Channel. It was a fabulous movie.

I Ihink I met her when I was a kid. Was her name Gertrude Ederly or something like that? I lost her autograph,
Those are truffles rolled in cocoa. They’ll go well with the coffee. What are those orange ping pong balls?
I'm not touching those till someone tells me.![]()
Yep, that's what I was going to say as well. Those are truffles rolled in cocoa. They’ll go well with the coffee.
That’s a really old-fashioned name. I never thought of that being the derivation of the two Trudys I knew. Her name was Gertrude and she went by the name Trudy.
She swam the English Channel in 14 hours 31 minutes in August 6th, 1926, so it IS an old fashioned name. That’s a really old-fashioned name. I never thought of that being the derivation of the two Trudys I knew.

Thank you, as always, and our other friends too, for sharing about your day.Good Afternoon, Kaila and Friends.![]()

Wet and chilly today. Blessing of blessings, though, husband took Lucius for his first walk this morning and it couldn't have been on a better day. I stayed up too late last night and consequently, woke late this morning, a bit headachy and very agitated, which did not dissipate over the course of the rushed morning.
When I went upstairs, way behind schedule, anxious and out of sorts, to walk Lucius, husband had already walked him. I was so relieved I wanted to cry. Just perfect timing. Today was the day for that.
Because of husband's thoughtfulness I was pretty close to being on schedule again and got to go straight downstairs for exercises and continue the day.
I'm still tired and out of sorts, but at least my day isn't running behind.
I'm thinking of all you lovely people on Kaila's come-as-you-are thread and wishing you a peaceful Thursday.

I love your positive attitude, Kaila. You're always looking for the bright spots and it's awesome.Thank you, as always, and our other friends too, for sharing about your day.
Mine was very difficult, yesterday and today.
I'm so exhausted and drained, all week. I feel like I'll never recover, from the past couple of weeks and this one.
I'm trying to remember that it's a feeling, even though it's quite gripping.
I did see some wild birds at the window feeder, today, which I'm thankful for, as they do lift my spirits.
