Good Afternoon, Kaila and Friends.
This day is flying by! Sheesh.
It's been a good day so far, I'm happy to say. My awesome son of awesomeness is freaking hilarious. We often meet in the kitchen and hang out talking. He's an interesting conversational companion and also just cracks me up.
So I was on the first Lucius walk today and cleaning up his first "puppy business" and I noticed some green and pink day-glow in his biz. So there I am, lifting my sunglasses and studying my dog's biz because that's just part of being a dog owner. :/ Lucius has pica so we are extra concerned and
try to be vigilant.
It was pieces of his rubber ball. He'd been chewing and trying to shake it into submission the other night whilst husband and I were watching hockey. Husband was worried, actually, that he might, "be getting a piece of it," and wanted to take it from him. But Lucius was having such a good time, I pleaded his case.
Well, I was wrong.

Turns out that husband
had taken it late last night when he could see pieces missing so, wasn't surprised by my report.
While I'm regaling you guys with tales of cleaning up after my dog, when Lucius had done his second puppy biz of the morning, and I was again on my knees, leaned over just about to clean up, the guided meditation I was listening to instructed, "Take a nice deep breath."

Um... I'll wait on that.
@Kaila, sounds like you were pretty productive yesterday with people and kitty maintenance.
I'm stealing here from a meme I can't find right now with this:
Some days all you can do is survive and that's enough. You did great today.
And the really tough pool/alarm day and the days after that.
Also,
@Kaila, great picture of your pretty yellow finches. We haven't been getting many of the colorful birds lately so it was nice to see yours.
@katlupe, good news about getting transport to/from therapy!
@MarciKS, hoping you are returned from your appointment, feeling some relief and catching up on sleep.
Everyone on this lovely thread:
And here's that coffee.
