@PeppermintPatty - I had the exact same experience as @Pinky! And, like Pinky, haven't had any problems since.
I LOVE biscotti. Yummm. When I had my own baking business I made 4 different flavours and they tasted great with coffee. What a lovely breakfast. Your coffee and baked goods pictures always have medrooling! Lol
Edit: I didnβt make 4 dozen types.![]()
Good morning to each one of you, today.
Whew, I've made it to today.
Yesterday felt overwhelming at times, and an unexpected evening upset led to thorough exhaustion and discouraged, by bedtime.
He then slept, thankfully; it took a while longer, for me to quiet my mind, to go to sleep.
The night went okay, and This morning went better. Whew.
I'm thinking back to the p.t.exercise that i was able to successfully complete, yesterday.
I long to be more able than I am;
and, yet I feel extremely grateful for what I βcan manage to do.
Thank you!You are inspiring and it helps others keep going. Keep it up.

So you try and police the bird feeder too?I saw a Robin,
out my window, today;
But instead of the ground,
It was on the feeder tray.
I told him to go,
and find his own worm;
But instead of flying off,
He remained there, rather firm.

(After penning a small spontaneous poem, on the thread about Ravens and Crows, today, I decided to amuse myself with another, here.)

Good thoughts for sound sleep tonight and nice weather tomorrow.I had planned and hoped to go outdoors, today, but instead of the weather I thought was forecast,
It was very cold and rainy...
.....very cold..... and very rainy.
Yikes.
I guess I was looking forward to a little time, outside, even more than I'd realized I was.
Maybe as sort of a reward, for the rough week. Ah well.
As it is, My sleep was thrown off, last night, so I was extremely low functioning, most all day.
I just managed to bathe, and the hot water felt good, so I'm a bit rejuvenated.
I hope you've all had a good day.

That is such a funny and delightful story, about dear Rocco.Good morning @Kaila and co. Pleased you managed a little more sleep, even though it wasn't quite enough. A little is better than none. Hope your pool therapy goes well. Wishing you all the best.
I went to eldest son's last night for tea. We had a good laugh because Rocco more or less ignores anything they say to him. Son's partner decided to put this to the test and called him over, he just sat there. She then asked me to do the same. I asked him to sit and stay, which he did, then I walked to the other side of the room and asked him to 'come'.... and he did. My son then tried doing the same thing but Rocco ignored him.Just call me the 'dog whisperer'.
Although it's Bank Holiday, I will still be having him here today but not until 11 ish. Snooker final continues at 1pm so I will take Rocco for a walk as soon as he gets here then we'll settle down together on the settee.
I get a jolt every time one of her threads is in the "what's new" list. I think of her so often.It also caused me, today, to remember how much our dear RadishRose loved all of your posts, including the updates of your days, and pictures of Rocco, as well.![]()
