Good morning Kaila & Gang! I hope everyone is well and perky on this American (and I think Canadian?) Mother's Day. I don't know yet what my daughter has planned for me... it's been kept a secret, but it won't be outdoors 'cause it's raining. Again. And will be for days according to the forecast.

Love the duck picture, Kaila! Does your precious kitty watch the yard visitors and birds from the windows? I'd like to see ducks here, but hasn't happened yet. Lots of water, and it's a river town, so it's not impossible to see them stop by my yard at some point. I'm more likely to see bigger things... like what my neighbor saw on a walk recently... a BEAR. I do have a family of deer right at my back windows and mama brings the new babies around every spring to check the place out.

Kate, it's strange but my cat never watches the ducks or birds or squirrels, out the windows. Even if i carry her over and point them out to her.

Her vision seems totally fine, though.
She seems to simply love the indoor life.

I've seen deer.... and bears.... but not here, in this populated location with roads, trucks, etc.

Are you near forest or mountains, that there are both deer and bear, near you?
