I did get some decent chunks of sleep, but I'm feeling completely bushed, partly because both of us were too wide awake, way  too early. 🙄😒😳😱😖

I went outdoors for just a few minutes, this morning, to tend the bird feeder, where the male cardinal has been feeding the female. It's amazing to watch them.

The cold pouring rains of the past 2 days have cleared up. It's glorious outdoors. I wish I could manage to be out longer, but thankful that I'm managing some small movements easier.

Good afternoon. Nooo, Rocco didn't accompany me @PeppermintPatty 🐶 😁.

I got a red astilbe plant at Aldi, no dinosaurs were there to help, had to use my trusty old lady trolley.;)

I did take some photographs in town but haven't uploaded them yet, I overdid the walking, was shattered when I got back and promptly fell asleep on the settee. Feeling a bit more refreshed now. Will sort out some photos tomorrow. It was a big improvement on the St Georges Day Parade and the kiddies were enjoying themselves as there were automaton dinosaurs, stalls selling all sorts of dino things and there was a big wheel (ferris wheel), roundabout (carousel) and numerous other fairground type games plus mini golf. So plenty for them to do.

I stayed with my friend for a little while then I got the bus to the shopping area on the outskirts of town where I bought 3 more tops from TK maxx. I'm really wanting some new pants for the summer but finding it difficult to get any. Might have to look online. My problem being that I am now under 5ft tall (used to be 5ft 2) plus all the pants appear to be very wide legged, which is now the fashion, and I don't like them. Did all the flared pants bit in the 1970s and don't want to go there again.

And that's been my day.

Good morning all. The forecast for this morning was light rain but that hasn't happened so far. It's a bright sunny morning! However, just to be on the safe side I am going to go and plant my astilbe @Kaila very soon. On the label that came with it, it says to plant in full sunshine but when I looked online at various gardening sites they all recommend a little bit of shade/dappled sunlight rather than full sun. Therefore it will be put in a tub directly opposite my kitchen window, near to the camellia and acer. This area of my yard should be ideal.

Here are a couple of pics of the dinosaurs etc. They did have a very large TRex Automaton there but I couldn't get close enough to get a decent photo or video so the TRex pic is one from local newspaper.

I am struggling with a flare the last few days and not feeling my best. 🥸 I have one of those headaches that two of my migraine pills has failed to catch. 🤕 I do have another type of med. I can take alongside, though and I will if I have to.

The good news is that I've done all my things today so I can just chill now, play with my sticker books, watch a show, hangout with boyfriend. ❤️

This flare will pass as they all do. ;)

@Kaila, hoping you got some good sleep last night. 🥰

Good morning @Kaila and all. Rocco now asleep on chair after lying across my knee for about an hour preventing me from doing anything at all. :cool:

I hope you are feeling better today @Medusa. Migraines and bad headaches are horrible and debilitating. ☹️ Hope you managed to catch up on sleep @Kaila. Hugs for you both. 🤗

I bought a basil plant from the supermarket a couple of weeks ago, took some cuttings from it, put them in water and they rooted. Potted them on yesterday and placed them on the kitchen windowsill. I do like basil. I think I might try and grow a few herbs again, I did a while back - rosemary, thyme and mint. I won't be growing coriander though, it leaves a horrible taste in my mouth.

Made a start on clearing out the small second bedroom over the weekend. This is only a small house and not much storage space and it's been too easy to just dump 'stuff' in there and shut the door. So.... time for action! :LOL: It will take time though. Son is going to move some things for me on Wednesday when he comes round.

Good morning, awesome people of Kaila-Land. Although we're going back to a more springlike mid 60s later in the week, today is projected to hit 95. 95!!!! Can't say I like when it's much over 70, but I *do* remember complaining about the bitter cold all winter long, so I'll try to keep the whining to a minimum. 🥵 :giggle:

I hope you had a restful sleep and are feeling better today, Kaila. And @Medusa, the same for you... hoping you're feeling back to normal this morning.

Absolutely know what you mean about that "catch-all" room, @Pam . I have one upstairs and it's where everything that doesn't have its own place goes to. You'd think I'd *find* a place or donate, huh? :unsure: Oh well, that will be a project for me in the upcoming weeks.

I do a terrible job of keeping up in this thread. I need to do better. Awake early cuz of sinuses. The cotton trees here are in full bloom so the cotton is floating through the air along with the pollen. Yay...😩😒

Planning to play around on the computer today since the weather is to be nasty again. We'll see though.
