Good morning, awesome people of Kaila-Land. Although we're going back to a more springlike mid 60s later in the week, today is projected to hit 95. 95!!!! Can't say I like when it's much over 70, but I *do* remember complaining about the bitter cold all winter long, so I'll try to keep the whining to a minimum.

I hope you had a restful sleep and are feeling better today, Kaila. And @Medusa, the same for you... hoping you're feeling back to normal this morning.

Absolutely know what you mean about that "catch-all" room, @Pam . I have one upstairs and it's where everything that doesn't have its own place goes to. You'd think I'd *find* a place or donate, huh? Oh well, that will be a project for me in the upcoming weeks.

OMG, yes! It was so hot walking Lucius today! I had to bring him in as soon as he did his puppy biz, instead of doing the complete walks. Lucius does not take the heat well.

Good morning @Kaila and all. Having a break now, managed to put fresh covers on furniture before Rocco got here and put the others on to wash.. Then I tried phoning the audiology department to make an appointment but it was engaged so I've sent an email instead, just waiting on a reply. I am meant to get the tubes changed in my hearing aids every 4 -6 months. I am embarrased to admit that it's been 2 years. Oops! I'll ask about a new hearing test while I'm there.

Re the flared pants @MarciKS - I wouldn't mind if they were a slight flare but I absolutely hate those very wide ones. I'd look awful in them. Anyway, I'm sticking to my guns and will keep looking for straight leg (and short ones ).

I'm posting quickly during halftime of the Chelsea v Spurs game I am watching with boyfriend. This game is important to West Ham's future.

I am finished with the Lucius walks (well, my part of them) and thank goodness because, yikes: 96F/35.5C with a real feel of 100F/37.7C . It's supposed to be very hot again tomorrow, but with the blessed addition of rain.

But beware , I was once nearly the height that you are now.
And am not, any more.

Yesterday I barely got to my regular p.t. therapy appointment, but it was quite important ,
so onward I forged.
Some times, determination wins the day.
Or a part of a day.
(Some days, it doesn't. )

That physical therapist is always very helpful, in multiple ways. Worth the work and efforts.

But I was in collapse mode, the rest of that day.

Today, after a few attempted but false starts, in the morning, we got to the garden center, which is as close as 1 building away. (but that's too far on some days. See above. )

Brought home a few plants .

I hope you each had some positives in your day.
