Geritol - Does Anyone Still Take It?

There used to be lots of ads for Geritol. I had to use Google to see if it still existed. It’s been around for 70 years.

I could use some extra energy, though I’m not going to buy this.

Never have and like you, didn't even know it still existed. Now I'll have to check to see if it's still in the pharmacy aisles.

I remember my grandmother taking Geritol on her doctor’s advice. She lived to be 97, so maybe there is something to gain by using it.
Speaking of my grandmother, she was a pure Pennsylvania Dutch woman, who attended a Mennonite church. On Saturdays at noon, a Dutch preacher would be on the radio. She never missed his show and sometimes she would laugh until she cried. He must have inserted a lot of humor into his sermons.

My hemoglobin levels are low so it might be a good idea to take some Geritol

I take a B-50 vitamin daily, but have not taken any iron supplements for years now. My multi-vitamin/mineral is iron-free. Old thread I posted, don't know if the link still works.

Never saw Geritol on the shelves at the store that I can recall but then again I was never looking for it. Didn't even know what it was. I'm surprised by some of the things that are still on store shelves. I have a bottle of calamine lotion that I've had for quite a while now. It still does the job.
