"Ghost" Provider Networks are Harming Patients: Article

I have always found call the provider you can use and then ask them if they take the insurance the insurance lists of providers are not as up to date.
Clinics and doctors etc change alliances or are sold so often, retire, or change employer etc . It would be a full time to update in real time.
I worked for a large insurance company did it quarterly if possible but was more like 2 times a year.

Picking a provider IMO should be more important to individual patient to research. I think people get mad when a provider does not take the insurance but often that is more about the provider experience with insurance....... then the insurance companies fault.
