Right. And it is utterly frustrating to me not to be able to see anything at night except Venus, Polaris and the Big and Little Dippers. All else star wise is lost on me. I can see Mars sometimes and Jupiter if they are pointed out to me. I can follow the sun anytime and know where I am as well.

I see the same word in the same colour every time, regardless of the mood it conveys but all words are different colours if you see what I mean..

Take the days of the week... Monday , is always white, Tuesday brown, Wednesday that always Red, Thursday is also always the same shade of Brown as Tuesday ., Friday is Green....Saturday Black.... Sunday is yellow

I would be in REAL trouble if I had that gift because I am colorblind enough that all those colors would confuse me to no end.

Yes. Abstract reasoning. I got the third highest score in my country when I was tested. It means I see patterns where other people don't and can find solutions others wouldn't consider.

I absolutely cannot do abstract reasoning types of puzzles.. totally ueless, my brain just doesn't work logically in that way

I do have some gifts...modesty prevents me from naming them. However my most important gift is my very pronounced gut feeling...I can smell a rat a mile off! My gut feeling has helped me through life...

When I was a boy, I had a gift for always having the fastest snail in a snail race, I called him/her 'Rocket'.
To make him/her run faster I used to sprinkle salt near his/her backside, it didn't half make 'Rocket'......rocket.

Neither can I, but I could write something that would irritate those that can, thus making MY talent, the GREATER gift.

My gift, if you choose to call it that is that I always know where North is. No matter the time of day, the lack of solar or lunar reference, or my physical location on the planet I can point to magnetic North within a few degrees of accuracy. In my hunting days this ability frequently resulted in some merry arguments with my nimrod companions about where camp was.

Actually this ability is not all that rare.

I have a problem that my sense of north is actually south. We got this house about eight years ago and I'm facing north as I'm writing this, but it feels like south. When I can see the mountains, I kind of get my bearings, but only if I visualize where I am like a map.
