The animal shelter at which my daughter and I volunteer has a thriving volunteer group with some turnover. There’s a core group of us who get together periodically, sometimes at someone’s house, sometimes a restaurant or bar, at a park, whatever. sometimes it’s couples and sometimes just us girls!
Last night was a girl’s night and several of us got together at a Melissa’s house. She lives on the river so we enjoyed a sunset boat ride! Lovely evening! One of our foster pups Walter came along for the ride!
He was found in a ditch, paralyzed, covered in fleas, underweight, and now this….a sunset boat ride, lap surfing, hand fed chicken nuggets. Life is looking up for Walter!
