The internet has enabled one, at the click of a mouse, to read up on just how horrible a species we truly are, with the detailing of daily atrocities committed, all over the world. Before the advent of the online world, we existed in a vacuum of sorts, save for the evening news and daily newspaper. Ignorance was, truly, bliss, to my way of thinking. Also, in my younger days, the air was cleaner, traffic less, water cleaner. We are a species that is populating this planet to our own breaking point. Such an unconscionable act will not go without dire consequences. The earlier referenced atrocities go hand in hand with over population. Read up on the rat cage experiments of the late 50's, early 60's. We are now living the fulfillment of its predictions.

Good for me has to be technology and advances in heath care.

Bad.....after being on this earth for 81 years, countries are still fighting.
