Good Day to Make Soup

With the latest blizzard going, I thought it would be a good day for some hearty, home-made soup. My version of kale, with turkey kielbasa and white and pink beans in chicken broth served with some toasted pumpernickel buns.

I love soup! We are having leftover Roasted Poblano corn chowder for our dinner with a spinach salad on the side.

GMTA as they say. I skipped the cooking part though. I have vegetable soup I canned last year, so I'm having that along with some French bread I'll toast up
in the oven with a little olive oil and perhaps some shaved parm on top.
Aunt Bea, that tuna melt sounds great with the soup. Debodun, you had me until kale. blec!

I am enjoying my homemade vegetable soup that I froze in small containers. Down to 4 containers in the freezer. I do have some tomato soups in the pantry. Its the kind you microwave in the can but I must be the only one that like them as they are getting harder to find. The O that's good soups are excellent especially the cheddar broccoli one. I get 2 generous servings from one container that comes out to 2.00 a serving. Since its just me it works out good for me.

No blizzards in the forecast for me, but you've put me in the mood for veggie soup! I have some in the freezer, and that with a grilled cheese sandwich sounds like a winner.
