Katlupe, That photo is absolutely stunning! In the coldest day of my life , decades ago, ( they say it was almost minus 50) here in NY-at high elevation where I live.
I mentioned it here somewhere- as I had to get the hair dryer on my well water hose connection, to thaw it out, and I recalled early this AM that not only did the little snowflakes look like crystals with rainbows in them, but the sun was rising and the sky was pink- and it is usually an orange-y type of color.
We must have Deja Vu!
Some sunrises here look like an upside down horizontal rainbow. They are always different.
