Good morning, day, afternoon evening, night, happy whatever etc. #6-New !

We had a really lovely New Year's Day dinner, at my sister-in-law's. She made all sorts of Japanese dishes, and packed up a bunch of left-overs to bring home. Everything was so delicious. Typically, New Year's is our big celebration.

Her friend of many decades (from the 60's), lives in the same building, which is lovely for her, since
her husband passed not too long ago. It's great to have her back in Toronto, since they lived in Ohio
for quite a long time. She's very happy to be back, and, her mother is in a Japanese Senior's home, not
too far from her.

Our nephew and his wife were in from Hamilton, and, they brought their young bird with them. I forget what kind of bird it is, but, it was adorable.

All in all, it was a very memorable day šŸ¤—
