Good morning Leah! No special plans this weekend except running a few errands and doing a little yard work. Haven't said TGIF since my working days!

Well I wish you a lovely day.Leah

I always look forward to Fridays. It is the start of the weekend and during the summer months that means there is always something going on. Even being older, we still have plenty of things to do, places to go and people to see. Today, it's supposed to hit 87 here and I have some trimming outside to do that I don't allow the men to do that do our mowing and other trimming. Then, some golf at 4:00, shower and dinner. Tomorrow, we are picking peaches and white corn and later in the day we are cooking out for friends that are coming over. Sunday is church and visiting the kids and swimming in the son's pool. My daughter has a pool and they keep tabs on where Mom and I swim just to make sure that we keep it even. I guess that's like some kind of sibling rivalry.

I enjoy all days ending in "Y "...I do stay around the house on Saturday and Sunday and let the crowds have fun!!

Same here. Being retired I prefer work days because then when I can go places and they aren't as crowded because most people are at work.

That's the same with us...we do most of our running on weekdays. Even when we go to the city, we usually do so during the week...and visit the kids/grandkids for a couple of hours in the evenings. Tomorrow, I turn 75, and one of the daughters is having a party for all of us at their lake house, so we'll see them there, and it's only a short drive back to our place.
