that reminds me of my Brothers' first day at school.. my mother took him in the morning, and around mid-day there was a frantic pounding on the front foor, and there stood my 5 year old brother, panting, and gasping'' It's ok mum, I've escaped''...Here's a pic of me arriving at my elementary school...

35 years ago this was our summer getaway by Oneida Lake, NY. Stayed there from end of April until mid Sept. 38 foot Franklin trailer with two slide outs. Good times, good memories.

Yeah, seemed like most girls in grade school dance class had sweaty hands. And mine were probably a bit sweaty as well. But I think it was probably a good thing for us kids anyway.

On the flip side... one of our many Chevy's that didn't stand the test of time. This one flipped on it's top, slid along on it's roof, cleaned a small porch off a house, and wrapped around an elm tree. All 3 of us fools walked away.
Yeah, I really liked yellow 57's with flames. Had a slew of them.

Great taste there Pappy. We called ours the Q.E. 2 (Queen Elizabeth) as it was a huge land yacht.
I swear the door was as big as some cars today.
