Gossip TV News-CNN Moving From Atlanta To NY. International Desk Job Cut

Some gossip or news from TV cable news. CNN is probably going to move it's headquarters from Atlanta To New York. They are also cutting jobs in the international news dept. Amid the job cuts a domestic anchor is getting private bathroom built for $100K, staff upset.

Meh. A bathroom for the entire staff of a 4-hour new program so that they can dash to the loo in less than 2 1/2 minutes. I can see how having to get to and from a bathroom that's on another floor in 2 1/2 minutes would be a problem.

As for moving CNN from here to there to somewhere else, stuff like this happens on a regular basis no matter what the business. Sometimes it makes obvious good sense, sometimes not, but often when the hired help grumbles about it, it's merely a case of the tail trying to wag the dog.
