Got a nice surprise while out to dinner Saturday night

The restaurant isn`t very big but we never saw this sweet, young couple sitting across the room. When they finished their dinner,they came over to say hi. They were on their way to Winter Formal. Alyssa is our granddaughter,she is 14 1/2 and a high school Freshman.

I`m sure they must have seen us walk in or they wouldn`t have come over our way-although they did stop first at the table right behind us to say hi to their high school office secretary. Eathan`s mom is the high school`s guidance counselor,so he knows them all well. And I jokingly call Alyssa "the Mayor of Lakeport." Everyone in this town knows her. I have walked through town with her before and been absolutely amazed. Every adult we passed said hi to her-by name. She`s a real sweetie though-a big personality in a very tiny package lol.
