Got A Notice From One Bank Tied To My Amazon Card

Got a letter in the mail saying my bank that covers my Amazon card spending cannot notify me onlne of when the payment will occur and I should go on a website with the bank name/Amazon to correct this. In the past year there has never been a problem. So I went on the legitimate bank/Amazon site to review and everything was fine. The next day I get an email from this M & T bank saying basically the same problem exists with them. Problem: I don't have an account with that bank and have never heard of them. I deleted their email.

I have my accounts set up so that I get notified of a weird charge, or a large one. This was the case when someone tried to use a card number of mine to book some overseas travel in Croatia, of all places. The bank caught it before it even showed up on my statement, notified me, and cleared it up, cancelled that card number and sent me a new one.
