Got my first hearing aid from the VA. Only needed left ear since right ear doesn't have the same amount of loss.
I never really had a hard time hearing with my left but sometimes in certain situations I had a bit of trouble.
I'm hearing every little thing now. Keys jingling, paper rustling, noises, beeps, and whistles. Not that I couldn't hear that before, just more amplified.
Voices, sounded a little tinny but an adjustment was made and it's a little better. Some of that is due to my high frequency loss so I'm told.
I do have the option for a different model but I need to get used to these for a bit.
Wife is very happy I got my hearing aid although I can no longer use the excuse that I didn't hear her. I'll just have to say I heard you but didn't understand what you were saying.
