Got silver? Now is the time to act.

Wife and I took some old silver (plates, forks, etc) that had been sitting in a closet for 15 years to a reputable dealer here. Walked away with $4700 in cash (He only wanted about a quarter of the pieces -- only the sterling objects).

Wife is going back to them with a bunch of flatware found in the garage. (We're moving so going through a big cleanup and re-sort.)

If you have anything lying around, now is the time to act with silver at $75 or so per ounce.

Start your year off right!

Yes I wish I had some, I was watching a YouTube about there not being enough silver being mined to meet all the demand for it and that even higher prices are being paid for it overseas.

I don't have any sterling silver..that I can think of... thanks for the heads up tho'...

This time last year tho'..I sold some gold jewellery.. very tiny things, a bracelet, a couple of rings... and I was astonished at the price I got for them

I bought my made to my own specifications new bed with it...

I should take my pre 1964 coins to get some cash out of them but I can no longer lift a 5 gallon bucket full.
Put them in mason jars and get the heck over to the store that says "we buy gold and silver!" The man today said a dollar silver coin is now worth about $60 for the metal alone.

Nice Irish Dude! I inherited silver utensils from my mother. Never used them because I dreaded having to clean them. I don't even remember where I put them. I also have 5 silver dollars. How does one go about finding a reputable dealer anyway?

We heard through word of mouth. Look for a gold and silver company with a GIA certification. I don't know where you live in New Jersey but there are such places.

When the Hunt brothers were flying high in the late 70s and silver was at $50/ounce, the bank that I worked for stored many five gallon buckets of silver in their vault for preferred customers.

A friend and his wife used to brag about buying a new Chevrolet for $1,200.00, face value silver coins.
