Grasshopper Invasion!!

Ugh. Makes me shudder. I am entomophobic. What did you do to get rid of them?
They stayed around for 3 months!!! All I could do was spray the foundation plants and let them devour everything else!! They even ate onion plants down to the bulb!! Killed two of my neighbor's peach trees!!
.

OMG- a plague of locusts! Sometimes, certain birds not native to an area, will come to eat up serious invasions. I guess it didn't happen for you.

It happened here in CT a number of years ago when gypsy moth worms denuded huge numbers of trees here. Out of state birds finally showed up to save what was left. I don't know what took them so long.....maybe passport issues.

RaddishRose 😂😂😂

That’s crazy Ken. I’d be scared to open my mouth in case a grasshopper jumped in. 🤐
My husband would be having a hay day if that were the case.

Our hens would probably eat the, selves to death. Unless they have red on them then the hens won't touch em.
@MeAgain How many hens would I need for 4 acres???
