Egrets are common around here in arms of San Francisco Bay. Beautiful birds. We also get the Canada Goose migration. Large expanses of lawn at a local high school are one of their favorites -- littered with them. In case you haven't seen it, Fly Away Home is a great movie on the Canada Goose migration, a real heart warmer not to be missed.
