My name is Cassie and I live in Michigan (originally from Queens, NY).

Wanted to see what people had to say about assisted living facility/senior living in general. Would love to chat and pick your brain and learn about you if you have time.

Got my BS from Wayne University.

Lived on Normandy Ave. near the U of D. on McNichols Rd. (6 Mile Rd.)

Very small world! I lived in Plymouth for junior and high school, then Canton, St. Ignace, Detroit. Most of my family is still in Michigan.

Welcome. My mom lived in a nursing facility. She thought she'd hate it, but instead, she made so many friends. She had always been shy. I went from thinking they were the last place I'd ever want to be, to thinking it was a good place for those who need it. I've known a few people who lived in assisted living facilities. I think they can be good, depending on the place.
