Hello everyone. I hope this post finds you happy, healthy and at peace. If not may your path lead you in the right direction to attain these things. As my name implies I am a night owl and I am most active late at night and the wee hours of the morning. This is by choice not by necessity. I live in the southern United States and my main endeavor in life is peace of mind which I actually attain for fleeting moments of time. I am pretty much a loner but I do enjoy conversation with others in and around my age group. This is a luxury I seldom have in my present state of being. This is by necessity not by choice. Having said all that I will add that I enjoy my life and feel blessed with everyday I wake up breathing and in good health. Happy trails to all.

There are some other night owls here, too,
as well as part-time ones who drop in on some nights, and sleep on other nights. :oops::sleep::oops::sleep::sneaky:

There are also participants from other time zones, that post at differing hours than the daytime USA posters. ;)

And of course, we all leave our input on different thread conversations, that others can read at any time that suits them,
and reply, for others to read...when..... you can guess the rest of this sentence!:LOL:

Therefore, I think you will enjoy our site, and I think we'll enjoy having you here.:)

The internet has been a real blessing for people who are loners to any degree, because most do still enjoy some interactions/conversations with others. On Social Media Sites and Forums like this you can basically get what contact you need/want while maintaining a good deal of control over it. You can join in when & where you want. And by the very nature of worldwide platforms most people don't expect INSTANT responses. We know the days/nights our friends in other hemisphere are reversed from ours so might not see something for a day or more.

Yet sometimes real and deep bonds are formed. i came to this site because a cyber friend i've known some 15 years, without meeting in person asked me to check it out. Have only been here 11 days and really liking it.

Hope you will too.
 
Welcome, from another new member! I joined because, while I keep very busy, I don't have much conversation about random subjects. The people close in my life are coworkers, so talk always revolves around work. This forum is a great platform for random conversations. Glad to know you are enjoying life.
