Got one in your area?

My lady loves that store!

Me, not much there IMO

Gotta admit, she gets some tremendous buys there

I just don't care for their quality (especially produce and meats)
My buddy calls it 'Gross Me Outlet'

Seems they're given to buy huge lots of what's not moving in other stores
So, certain items are not always in stock

Me, I shop for what I know is good and like
My lady shops for 'buys' and builds her meals around them
I can't argue with that

Gotta watch their pricing from shelf to checkout
But, unlike some other stores, they do honor the shelf price

Gotta say, their ice cream prices and selections rock pretty hard

Mrs. Hazy and I enjoy looking around and seeing what they've got in since the last time we were there. Maybe try something new & different, sometimes it's good, sometimes not so good. We have gotten some good deals there, but they'll sell out fast.

Where my son lives in the twin cites (MN) there is “Mike’s Discount Foods”, which is the same idea. There are some great bargains and if it were near me I would shop there regularly. I would start my shopping there and finish at the other stores.

I've usually not found any smoking deals there often. However, they opened one near me. The eggs and cheese are ok, there's an odd assortment of other items.

Watch out on expired stuff, most canned goods can last years, but if it's not a huge discount, I pass.

There's no Grocery Outlet in my local area.
We have a Price Rite, a few big name food markets and some other grocery markets.

There are a few Grocery Outlets nearby but I haven't been. Will have check one out. My meals are centered around produce so I'm very picky about its quality.

Most of my groceries come from SuperKing (a store that specializes in produce), a nearby Asian market, Costco, Aldi, and a little bit at Trader Joe's.

I hit the produce store weekly, the others as needed.

One of the "big draws" there is always an unexpected bargain - whether I need it or not, it always end up in my cart!!
yup
Wife just bought a pkg of 10 breakfast sausages for $1.47
Normally over $5
She doesn't go by their 'savings' tabulation on the receipt, as it's always inflated
She looks online

Yes we do. It's hit and miss. But sometimes you can find some real bargains in there. I stop in and check them out every few weeks or so. You may find something and never see it again though. Brands I've never heard of. I like the NOSH section: natural organic something something or other.

We have one, and I agree, Gary O', there's not much there. The one thing I like about ours is that it's not huge. Our Food 4 Less, Winco and a few others are massive, and sometimes I can't do all that walking. Like there's this really small window when medication levels and energy levels align perfectly, and I'm not going to waste that on shopping bargain prices anyway.

There's no discount anything where I live except for a few thrift stores that sell used items and clothing, and there's a dollar store. Nothing in there is a dollar, lol. I've only gone there occasionally because it's the closest place that does FedEx. I looked around when I was there, and it's dirty and completely disorganized, with stuff lying in the isles and falling off the shelves. From what I could see, it's full of nothing but crap. I do very well watching for and taking advantage of sales at the local grocery stores and online for non-perishable foods.
