Growing up, what family was most like yours?

I don't know any of these sitcoms. But I'd guess none of them, since we were an average normal family. In sitcoms there are never average normal families. It would be much too boring.

If Tod and Buz from 'Route 66' had a family along, that would've been us.
The closest on screen family would have been from the movie 'Swiss Family Robinson'.

We had to be a close family, moving as much as we did when I was growing up.
Remember you always had to make a discision on what you could take along and what to leave behind.
Learned at an early age this was just 'stuff'. Found I could really live without most of it.
As I got older, I was more exicted for the adventure we were on, than the stuff we carried.

Mom was a Master Packer and always seem to stash some of our favorites away to be brought out during unpacking.

My family wasn't like any tv family at all. I thought we must be too strange growing up.

The Partridge Family

There were 5 kids...3 boys and 2 girls...and all very musical. Just like my family. :)

David Cassidy played a concert and a few of his fans were trampled to death. Sadly, he never played live again.
