Guess what I’ve been doing?

You can’t see the big Paint blobs on my arms, my work overalls are covered, and I even have spatters on my toes (work sandals..too hot for shoes)

For all my anal/ocd tendencies I am a surprisingly messy painter! Not the job, the job is perfect! Just me...covered in paint every damn time! That perfectionism
comes in handy though for the cutting in. I’m slow, but precise!

Are you a mess when you paint?

I alway wear a bit of paint after a job, also greece, caulking, and glue.
But it does look like you "get into your work."

I'm a real messy worker but generally the job comes out pretty good. Another of my problems is the prep work before I start any job. I just like to jump in and decide an hour later I should have put down a drop cloth and I should have gotten the step ladder from the garage. Ronni you look like a person who is really absorbed in their work.

Oh yes, I end up covered in spots, and dots, and smears when I paint, but unlike so many others who loathe painting, I love the freshness of newly painted rooms and things, so am able to look past the all the mess knowing cleaner and more beautiful times lie ahead.

Yeah, but it's a healthy mess, Ronni, and it's one of those messes that equates to making one feel good inside when all is said and done!

Oh yes, I am a mess when I paint, too, Especially the time I stepped into the rolling pan full of paint. Fortunately I was barefoot as usual.

The last time I painted the walls, I got "free" streaks of baby blue paint on my hair.

While my SIL n I marveled at how "purty" the walls turned out, my brother came in to find fault on the job. He tried to get a rise out of us, we just did a high 5 n happy dance.
