I just watched a documentary on Prime called Rocketman (not to be confused with Elton John bio-pic) about a guy named Mike Hughes. He is a flat-earther, who also does not believe in science. He decided to build himself a rocket (he decided you do not need science to build one) to launch himself into the atmosphere. He wanted to see for himself if the earth is round. He never did make it far enough up to see for sure, but I think he was not able to prove his belief.
He is a definite nut job. I could not even watch the whole program, but did find this article about him and his attempts. A couple scenes showed him trying to raise money for his event, and was basically laughed at.

Here is an article. Flat Earth Guy

My feeling is, you have to be a special kind of nuts to buy into these conspiracies.

It’s looks like you have too much time on your hands Maria. Don’t you have some old knitting projects you could finish or something ? 🥳 Lol

I recently read a great one-liner on Quora.com:

"If the earth was really flat, cats would have knocked everything over the edge by now."

LOL!
